In the Plaza Joaquín Costa the Casa Palacio is located, a magnificent example of the Aragonese civil architecture of the 16th century, as is the Padilla Palace, located on Ramón y Cajal Street a few meters from the previous one.

The "Ángel Vicioso" pavilion is a magnificent sports facility that opened in May 2007. It consists of a sports court where you can practice indoor football, handball, basketball, volley ball and any other sporting activity.

Undoubtedly, the main source of income is Zalux, a factory of lighting components founded in 1980 by Don Antonio López, son and neighbor of that town, with 42,000 square meters distributed in two production plants: Alhama I and Alhama II.

​

The Health Center has a doctor and ATS staff and also a pediatrician visits once a week. After 15 hours, the emergency service enters into operation.
