CAMPILLO:

Campillo is a village in the region of Calatayud that is next to the border with Castilla la mancha.
In this report i will talk about one of the land marks that can be visited in my village.
The Sabana Santa:
The Sabana Santa is one of the 20 cpies that exist in Spain,it is the sheet that covered the Jesus Christ body after he was taken down from the cross, it is a peculiar thing because actually, it is a cloth where you can see the silhouette of a body, and youcan also see spots of blod. It is'nt known how old this relic is.
The story of this is the following , it arrived wrapped in ebony rods as a gift from a neighbor, who donatedit to hisby the Hose of savoy when he lefft the orchbishoprie of Turin, to be prior of the Order of Saint John of Malta and in the vilage there is a lot of devotion towands it.
This is in the church of San Juan Bautista who is the patron saint of the village; you can also visit the fourteenth of september which is a day when there are partie in honor of the Sabana Santa and you can also see the dat of Holy friday in Holy week.
